Glaring omission

I don’t have a whole lot to add to what’s already been said, but I’m going to agree with Mike at Hacking Netflix and Erik at Cinematical in their pointing out the egrigious error made by the producers of the Academy Awards in not including voiceover artist Don LaFontaine in this year’s “In Memorium” reel. Not only was he part of the ceremony itself for years and years, but his work as a trailer narrator did more to get people to the movie theater in the first place than a lot of other people. Massive, massive oversight.
