Twilight trailer to premiere with Speed Racer
According to Cinematical, the first trailer for the much-anticipated film Twilight will debut in front of Speed Racer when it opens in a couple weeks. At least it could be in front of Speed since it’s said to be shipping “in the can” as loose film and won’t actually be attached to the print. So exhibitors have the option of adding it if they want or choosing something else.
The movie is one that has bypassed my radar to a large extent but I keep hearing others talking about it. It’s the story of a young woman who, after her family moves to a new area, finds herself falling in love with someone who turns out to be a vampire and in fact belongs to a whole family of vamps. So it’s basically Buffy seasons one through three, but without the super powers.
