Baghead trailer
I have to admit this is a good trailer for the low-budget horror movie Baghead. The spot starts by introducing us to the four main characters who, as in all horror flicks, drive off to spend some time at a remote cabin. They’re there to try and come up with a collective way to get out of being struggling actors by brainstorming a big idea that will get them noticed.
But, of course, things start to turn creepy when no one can figure out who is wandering around with a bag on his head, something that was the idea they latched on to.
It plays pretty well, but I’ll admit I kept waiting for something funny to happen. I don’t know if that’s just a result of the idea of someone with a bag on their head being so ridiculous or what, but I kept expecting more comedy. There are a few funny moments in there, even after the shrieking starts, but I was still waiting for a stronger punch line, and the lack of that might have thrown off my initial reaction to the trailer.
