Hamlet 2 poster
The poster for Hamlet 2 has been released by Focus Features and it’s quite as bit as funny as the trailer that was sent out last week or so.
There doesn’t seem to be a lot going on in the poster’s design, but there really is, and I’m not just talking about the various stage props littered around the floor. I mean the inherent comedy of a grown man obviously changing into costume in a high school bathroom stall. Or the gaudy title treatment at the bottom.
Yeah, the “number 2″ joke in the middle is a bit on-the-nose, but otherwise it’s pretty chuckle-worthy.
The poster, like the trailer, plays up the fact that it’s from the South Park/Team America duo, though I’m not sure the audience for those are the same for this movie, which seems to be aimed at a slightly more independent-minded crowd.
