From Newsarama comes a new poster for Warner Bros.’ Wanted. This character poster focuses on the fully tatooed Angelina Jolie and the big gun she’s sporting.
The poster is OK, but despite the arty black and white photography that’s used here it’s not quite as catchy as the Comic-Con poster (which turned out, despite my opinion, to be the theatrical poster as well). I like it, and the combination of Jolie and guns has precedent as leading to some box-office to success to you can’t argue with the visuals. I just don’t see it as as visually interesting, unless of course you want to try and decipher her tattoos.
There’s also a new Facebook application for the movie that’s been released called Fraternity of Assassins. Based on the secret cabal that Jolie and Morgan Freeman recruit James McAvoy into their league, the game lets you try to achieve the level of world’s greatest assassin. There are some mini-games along with the app, and Trigger says there’s a web widget version coming later on down the road as well.
