Become Tony Stark with new MTV contest

MTV Networks has launched a “Live Like Tony Stark” contest to promote the upcoming Iron Man movie.

Enter on the site to win a weekend Los Angeles where you get to live like Iron Man’s alter ego, Tony Stark. That includes a $1,000 AmEx card to use on Rodeo Drive and an Audi Q7 to get you up and down the drag. Audi, of course, is doing a larger cross-promotional effort for the movie. There’s also first class travel to LA and two nights at the Beverly Hills Hotel and a helicopter tour of LA.

The contest is being hosted at both MTV and VH1, with both sites hosting a commercial for the contest as well as the movie’s trailer and other things like character bios and pictures.

At the same the contest is launching you can view a tour of the sets that become Tony Stark’s luxury home at Yahoo Movies. I’m guessing it’s not actually a coincidence the two were released so close to one another.
