Iron Man at 7-11, in an Audi and on TV

First off, MMM correspondent Kevin Dugan made sure I caught this story in Convenience Store News on the 7-Eleven figures and Slurpee cups now being offered. I had grabbed some pics the other day but the story does have some additional details, such as how the chain will be supporting the promotion with radio advertising and occasional local contests awarding movie posters and more.

Audi has issued the official press release on their cross-promotional efforts for the movie. The carmaker is looking to tap into the movie’s technology themes to promote their R8 model and will do their part for the movie with a microsite and, closer to the movie’s released, a TV, in-theater and outdoor advertising campaign that play up the strong ties between Iron Man and the car.

Finally, SSH has the fourth TV spot that was created for the movie. Nothing really new, just an original arrangement of existing footage that highlights the throw-down between Iron Man and Iron Monger.
