Esurance launches Speed Racer tie-in site
Automotive insurance company esurance has launched their tie-in site for Warner Bros.’ Speed Racer.
The site is very heavily focused on video, with the movie’s trailer being just one feature there. Also on the site is a co-branded spot starring the esurance spokes-cartoon Erin as she races, in full Speed Racer gear, to the movie’s premiere. Finally there is exclusive footage featuring a combination of scenes from the movie (most of them pulled from the trailers) and some interviews with the cast and crew.
The main attraction, though, is a sweepstakes awarding a handful of prizes, the largest of which is a trip to the movie’s premiere and more.
There’s also a promotion for the Speed Racer console game that’s hitting right around the same time as the movie.
