Prom Night + “The Hills” online = contextual marketing genius
In his story on MTV’s new online video player, Cory Bergman includes a screenshot of said player that includes a banner ad for the teen thriller Prom Night below a streaming episode of “The Hills.” So…we know what audience Sony’s going for with that movie don’t we?
Speaking of “The Hills,” I kind of have to link to Karina’s piece on how the show, a faux-reality picture of a bunch of spoiled teens compares to the films of Michaelangelo Antonioni. Really, read it and it will make sense. Trust me.
