Gus is showcasing these concept designs for poster art for Jumper that wound up being unused.
I agree with many of his points but still think these would have been pretty cool as part of the teaser campaign. With the mystery that the bright lights in front of and in back of the character and the big nothingness that surrounds him I think that would have been a neat concept to use in the initial phase of the push.
I’m not saying they’re the coolest thing in the world, but if presented in sequence or in some other way they might have done quite a bit to get people interested in the more sci-fi aspects of the movie. I’m a little disappointed they didn’t find a use for these in some way.
