New Mamma Mia trailer
I’d love to offer a meaningful review of the new Mamma Mia trailer, the one that debuted during Tuesday night’s “Dancing With the Stars,” but I’m having a hard time coming up with anything more constructive than “IT BURNS!!! OH GOD IT BURNS!!!!”
I just can’t shake the feeling that while the guys like Colin Firth and Pierce Brosnan are just fine playing the cads in the movie, Meryll Streep should kind of be embarrassed. She looks like she’s subjected to such humiliation in this it just makes me feel bad for her.
Unlike the teaser trailer this one explains the plot a bit more (I’m really not going to go into it) and features pretty much wall-to-wall ABBA, which right away might make this the worst trailer ever. It’s pretty bad so don’t watch it if you can help it.
