Love Guru trailer
Yeah, I’m going to have to go ahead and call foul on this trailer for The Love Guru, the latest flick from Mike Myers.
There are a couple funny bits in it, but it’s essentially the same schtick Myers has been doing for (wait, let me count) ever. He slaps on a disguise and uses that as an excuse for a ridiculous accent (at least it’s not his same tired Scottish brogue) and inappropriate behavior. Oh and Verne Troyer returns to give Myers a reason to make some jokes about how small he is.
I’m tempted to say Jessica Alba is wasted in a role that has an obvious arc to it and who’s there just to provide something pretty to look at (and allow for a “well there was this one time in college” joke that has an off-screen erection as its punchline) but nope, that’s about what she does.

So basically you’re saying that you like Will Ferrell-comedy better than Mike Myers-comedy. As they’ve both been doing pretty much the same for like forever.
