Johansson and Portman make out for film publicity
Defamer thinks Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman are being encouraged to act like they’re constantly on the verge of making out with each other in an attempt to drum up interest in The Other Boleyn Girl, with the thinking that the secret lesbian fantasies supposedly being harbored by all males will drive them to theaters.
I’m completely alright with this.

That’s an odd suspicion, given that the film is directed squarely at a female audience. Most of whom, one assumes, are not turned on by such things. All the photo calls and gossip items I’ve seen have them wearing clothes, jewelery, all sorts of hairdos. The usual. And pal’ing around like…well…SISTERS.
Barats and Bereta poke some good natured fun at themselves over this very topic, although man-on-man fantasies appeal to a much smaller demographic than girl-on-girl ones.
Seriously, the first few skits of their that I saw set of my gaydar like no one’s business; just watch these guys and tell me with a straight face (no pun intended) that they don’t look like their on the verge of making out at the end of half their routines.
