This Super Bowl commercial for the Martin Lawrence comedy Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins eschews story and plot almost entirely and instead goes straight for the crotch. Either someone is being hit in theirs or theirs is being tempted by someone else’s. It’s all fights and pratfalls and such. Lowest common denominator time here. Apparently the people who put this one together didn’t get the memo that this year commercials were said to be kinder and gentler. Oh well.
