Superhero Movie trailer
Oh sweet Hannah and her sisters. This whole spoof thing has just got to stop. Once upon a time it was funny, back when it was assumed that the audience wasn’t made up of mindless goobers who could barely stop themselves from sticking their hand down their pants in the grocery store check out line, but those times have obviously passed.
The biggest problem I have with this trailer for Superhero Movie is (aside from the fact that it’s not funny) it’s not really a spoof. It’s a bunch of recognizable scenes but instead being played straight they go for a boob or dick joke. I will admit to slightly chuckling when Leslie Nielsen turns and shoots the guy in the hand with the nail gun, but that doesn’t mean I feel good about it.
Target audience: The mentally challenged.
