Weinstein teams with MySpace for Diary of the Dead contest
The Weinstein Co. is partnering with MySpace on a contest to promote the upcoming zombie flick Diary of the Dead.
Aspiring filmmakers are being asked to submit their short horror film to the Diary of the Dead MySpace page. Once the videos are there they’ll be voted on by other visitors. Diary director George A. Romero will then pick his five favorites and those short films will be included on the movie’s eventual DVD release.
