The trailer for the romantic comedy What Happens in Vegas, which stars Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz, fails on so many levels it’s kind of hard to keep count. It’s not funny, it completely maps out the entire movie (including the entirely predictable third act) and presents two relentlessly unlikable characters it’s almost staggering.
Surprisingly it does not include the scene from which the one picture that has been released was drawn from. I would have expected them to work that scene in first and foremost, but the wedding in the trailer is something that happens in the background and not actually shown. Not that I think that would make it all that much better, but it kind of seemed notable to me.
