Executive Shifts: 1/13/08
Warner Bros. has let go of domestic marketing chief Dawn Taubin, who served in that role for six years. The ouster appears to have more to do with personality conflicts with worldwide marketing head Jeff Robinov than anything relating to the performance of WB films. {Update: WB has named Sue Kroll as Taubin’s successor}
A major shake-up in the management ranks of Paramount has elevated Rob Moore, who had been he head of worldwide marketing there to vice chairman of the studio. Moore also will continue to work on the marketing of Dreamworks releases.
Alison Bossert has been upped to senior VP of special events, including screenings, parties and other promotional or corporate events, at Columbia TriStar.
