According to Warner Bros., the trailer for The Dark Knight will debut on the movie’s official website sometime early next week after hitting the big screen tomorrow in front of I Am Legend.
The trailer is almost getting lost in all the conversation about the seven-minute preview of the movie’s opening sequence that will play in front of IMAX screenings of the movie. Everyone seems to be filing reports on that while the new trailer is all but ignored.
Personally I’m more interested in the trailer, since that’s something that’s actually created and tuned by marketing folks. The preview is just an execution, not a tactic.
