Hellboy character poster revealed
The Hellboy official website has finally updated with the character one-sheet for the title character himself as part of the Hellboy 2: The Golden Army campaign.
This being one of the all-time greatest character designs ever it’s no surprise that the poster is quite cool. It’s the same sort of extreme close-up we got with the Liz Sherman and Abe Sapien shots. But this time it’s Big Red looking sort of vaguely honked-off and irritated (which is what made the character so fun the first time around) at the audience.
These posters are being labeled as lobby displays and I think the combination of them would make a very effective presentation in a theater hallway, be they as actual one-sheets or expanded into hanging banners or something like that.
By the way, to follow up on my last post. The notification that these posters were live finally came through on the site’s RSS feed. Either they were being saved until they were all available or the feed got fixed. Either way, that’s cool.
