New Hellboy 2 character posters
Universal has unleashed the first real bit of poster art, excluding the Comic-Con teaser last summer, for Hellboy 2: The Golden Army. These two are character posters for Liz Sherman, played by Selma Blair, and Abe Sapien, who is physically played by Doug Jones but voiced by David Hyde Pierce. Both are great since these are very distinctive characters and each features something about the character’s powers surrounding the head-shots. See how Liz is surrounded by the blue fire she controls and Abe is, well, wet.
According to the movie’s official website tomorrow will bring a new image of Hellboy himself, so stay tuned.
Interestingly, though, these didn’t get pushed out through the site’s RSS feed, nor did any sort of announcement about their debut. Not sure if that’s an issue with the feed or just a result of material from this section of the site not getting fed, but I didn’t see these until I visited the site.
