MMM joins the Peerflix Media Network

peerflix.JPGI’ve always been looking for an ad strategy here on MMM. I never wanted to push it into the realm of annoying for the reader but just was looking for MMM to pay its way in terms of hosting and such and maybe make a little coffee money on the side. Right now that’s been achieved with a mix of Google AdSense and FeedBurner ads.

But now I’m happy to announce I’ve joined the newly launched Peerflix Media Network. No, I’m not selling MMM to them like John did with The Movie Blog. MMM is still independently owned and operated. I’m just opening up a bit of space here on the site for them to sell ads against.

I’m by no means the only other site in the new network. TechCrunch wrote up the launch and says ScreenRant, ComicBookMovie and others are also included.

Believe me when I say I always have the reader’s best interests in mind here. But the opportunity arrived at the right time and seemed like a good fit – and that’s before I knew all these other sites were also coming along. So I have faith in the Peerflix team that they share my point of view and that the process will be a smooth one for everyone involved.

To accommodate the Peerflix ad units I’ve changed WordPress themes here on MMM so if you’re hitting the site and thinking things look different that’s why.
