Rambo trailer

The first real trailer for Rambo or whatever it’s being called today has finally made it into the wild, preceded a while ago by a long-form clip reel that was extraordinarily violent while offering just a smattering of plot.

This actual trailer is still pretty violent, so much so I’m genuinely shocked it didn’t need a red-band for release. It focuses on why Rambo is once again called on to kill a lot of bad guys, this time to save some mission workers who strayed too far into Myanmar. It’s not bad as a re-introduction to the Rambo character, but I don’t think it contains the necessary elements to bring in people who don’t remember the rest of the series. [via HollywoodChicago]
