I hadn’t seen it before Anne Thompson pointed to it but ThinkFilm has released a new, theatrical trailer for Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead. It’s structured similarly to the longer trailer reel that was released a while ago and hits most of the same notes, just doesn’t have the breathing room the first one did. This one is much more a traditional trailer, presenting the movie as a family drama with action elements. It’s still good, but I think we were spoiled by that extended footage that was released.

There’s also a new version of the poster that’s been released. It’s the same overall design, just with a black background instead of a white one. [via MPA]
