Quick Takes 9/16/07: Friends of MMM Update

  • static.jpgMack reports Andy Lark has been hired by Dell to be their new VP of Global Marketing, a position that his blogging surely didn’t hurt in obtaining.
  • Clyde is celebrating five years since the birth of ProHipHop.com. Congrats, old-timer.
  • Ryan has put up a bunch of good stuff lately, including this story about bringing new marketing thinking to the traditional theater. He’s also finally given in and joined Twitter. Welcome to the time suck.
  • John comes to the same conclusion that I did regarding Apple and its relationships with movie studios, saying studios right now need to cooperate with Apple because, after all, there’s little to no alternative.
  • Toby comes to the defense of Joe Jaffe and crayon after a post by AdAge’s Jonah Bloom that was, in some regards, journalistic ally questionable and raises the question of what editorial responsibilities lie between a column and a blog post.
  • Alan just makes me laugh.
