Two Philadelphia local TV news anchors apparently took part in a promotion for New Line’s Shoot ‘Em Up that involved giving away a jacket filled with fake bullet holes and other swag. The anchors then came under fire by other news organizations in the city for seeming to make light of gun violence when the city is suffering from a spate of the real thing.
The anchors have since apologized for the promotion, saying it was in “poor taste.” Agreed. [via PhillyMag]
