Control poster

I don’t know what else to say about this poster for the Anton Corbijn movie Control other than that it looks very much like an Anton Corbijn photo. But that’s a good thing. Corbijn’s photographs always have a way of capturing more than just a physical moment and getting to the emotions that are motivating the subject and this is no exception.

It takes the leading man in the film, Sam Riley (playing Joy Division frontman Ian Curtis), and really shows the inspired directionless nature of that character. It – again, like most Corbijn phots – is quite striking for the viewer. [via CINE]
