Seriously – Stop it with the stripes. Not every ensemble drama needs to have a poster with stripes, each one featuring a different actor from the film like this one for Rendition does. [via CINE]

I do creative marketing work and used the “stripe” effect about two years ago. Seems like marketing designers don’t know how the hell else to feature more than one actor. Jeez.
And Witherspoon on the phone? That’s a strange image for such a dramatic looking poster. Maybe Meryl Street should be text messaging.
