Eastern Promises poster
David Cronenberg’s next movie Eastern Promises, about a crime syndicate and their efforts to preserve some mysterious secret that has been uncovered, now has a poster. It does a good job of promoting the fact that it comes from Cronenberg and shows off the two biggest stars, Viggo Mortensen and Naomi Watts, quite well. The inclusion of the tattooed hands of Mortensen’s hitman is a nice touch that adds a bit of fun to the visuals, even if it does risk alienating some of the movie’s more mainstream potential audience. Still, it works overall and is a nice effort. [via MPA]
