Post sues Boll over websites

newyorkpost.JPGDirector Uwe Boll has been sued by the New York Post over a couple of websites Boll launched to promote his new movie Postal, reports The New York Sun.

The sites, the suit alleges, infringes on the paper’s trademark by creating more or less direct reproductions of the Post’s website. The paper has asked a federal judge to prohibit Boll from using the sites and actually transfer ownership of the domains to the Post.

The Post and Boll have sparred over the movie, with the paper pointing out that the movie mocks September 11th, 2001, a depiction it’s sure Boll took issue with.
