Cloverfield/1-18-08 trailer now on Apple

Apple is now hosting a Quicktime version of the teaser for Cloverfield or whatever this mysterious J.J. Abrams movie is actually called. The way the trailer link is formatted it makes it look like the movie’s name is 1-18-08 but that may just be because the movie doesn’t have an actual name just yet.

While I had watched the grainy cell-phone footage of the trailer before seeing it now is a completely different experience, especially in terms of the audio. I was able to hear things that I’d completely missed before. That should give rise to a whole new round of speculation as to what this movie is all about.
