The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything: A Veggie Tales Movie trailer

Being a Christian and the parent of two I’m a big fan of Veggie Tales. It doesn’t hurt that the shows are funny as all get out, either. (Larry the Cucumber: “That way we don’t split the peas.” One of the French Peas: “Did he just make a split pea joke?” This exchange kills me every time. The first Veggie Tales movie, Jonah, is good but not great, I thought. Still, it was a good episode of the series so everything was equal.

Big Idea has now embarked on their second feature film, The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything, featuring the…well…Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything and you can view the first trailer for the movie here. This one, at least based on the trailer, doesn’t seem to be based on a specific Bible story. If it is it’s not evident from the little bits shown in the very brief trailer. It does have plenty of the trademark Veggie Humor, though, especially from Mr. Lunt. It’s quite good and should appeal to anyone who’s already a fan of the franchise, which has quite a following.

Also, just because I’m a fan, here’s the teaser that appeared on some Veggie Tales DVDs a while ago.
