New Simpson Movie poster
20th Century Fox has created a new one-sheet for The Simpsons Movie that I picked up on from The Movie Blog. We’re still not looking at the theatrical poster here, at least I don’t believe so based on the lack of a credit block anywhere on there. Instead we’re given what amounts to a group shot of the family that, for some reason, keeps making me think of the cover to Avengers #502. It’s a good poster but doesn’t convey any sense of action, something that I’m kind of expecting from the movie. I think that’s the problem that’s been tickling the back of my mind will the posters for this movie – They look like posters and don’t actually seem to have anything to do with the movie. I know that they’ve been dropping little plot points but they don’t seem like anything that couldn’t have been created at any point in the Simpson’s 18 year history.
