Marvel/Fox promote Fantastic Four 2 on U.S. quarter
The Franklin Mint, in conjunction with Marvel and 20th Century Fox, are creating a limited edition collector’s edition U.S. quarter featuring George Washington on one side and the Silver Surfer on the other. It’s yet another component in the marketing build-up for Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
From Marvel News:
The collector’s “Silver Surfer” U.S. quarter will be emblazoned with the image of the legendary Marvel Comics character who takes a leading role in the movie. This legal tender coin is a 2005 California statehood commemorative quarter minted by the United States Mint and specially color-enhanced by The Franklin Mint for Twentieth Century Fox.
If you find yourself with a coin you can go to the movie’s official website and register to win a trip to the movie’s London premiere. There’s also the chance to win a private screening of the film for you and some family and friends.
