New Surf’s Up trailer
I have to say, after watching the new trailer for Surf’s Up, that Sony was wise to schedule it for when it did. When the first trailer was released it was in the middle of the Happy Feet publicity onslaught and Surf wound up looking like “the other” penguin movie.
Now that Happy Feet has passed Surf’s Up can carve out its own space and I think this trailer does that pretty well. It’s the story of a young penguin who despite is diminutive stature wants to become a surf champ. This leads to a bunch of lessons being learned and a romance and such. It’s substantively different from Feet and the time between movies allows it to show how so more effectively. [Via]
