Hawk is Dying trailer
Paul Giamatti takes on the role of a man obsessed with training a hawk he finds in Hawk is Dying. You can watch the trailer here. It’s pretty good and very much focuses on Giamatti - not a surprise considering the level of “indie fame” he has. The trailer moves along nicely and presents what appears to be the two main plot drivers for the movie: Giamatti’s obsession and the concern over that obsession by his friends and family.

What’s interesting is that Ted Hope, the film’s producer, has come out in full support of the movie. So much so that he issued a money-back guarantee. He makes the strong case that this movie is so innovative in its use of cinematography and such that it absolutely demands to be seen on the big-screen. I love it when creators stand behind their creations in such a big, brash fashion.
