Despite not wanting to like it I have to admit the trailer for Mr. Brooks, starring Kevin Costner, Demi Moore and John Hurt, works pretty well. Costner plays a normal guy who also happens to be occasionally compulsed by Hurt, who plays some sort of imagination figment/alter ego. Investigations, murders and more ensue. There’s a pretty cohesive narrative to the trailer and it doesn’t jump around a lot timeline-wise.
