The Lookout trailer

The trailer for The Lookout, about a young man who suffers a terrible accident and later gets unwillingly involved in a robbery at the bank he works at, is really good. It manages to convey to the viewer the thematic framing device that’s going to be employed, that of the protagonist relating his story to Jeff Daniels’ character, very well. At the same time it also gets plenty of plot across. We see why the young man is working at the bank, how he meets the people planning to exploit him and how things begin to go down. And it does all that without spoiling the journey the characters go on. Very nice.
