Bridge to Terebithia poster and trailer
Apparently Disney isn’t waiting around for a Chronicles of (What?) Narnia sequel and so are releasing an adaptation of Bridge to Terebithia. You can see the poster, which is a tad too weirdly arranged for me, here and watch the trailer here. The trailer is immediately evocative of Narnia with the kids entering a magical realm and such, in fact it’s structured almost exactly like the Narnia trailers. Disney, along with Walden Media (who also co-produced Narnia) are obviously hoping for a repeat of that success but it will be interesting to see if they take the same sort of Christian-organization outreach approach.
