Come Early Morning trailer
Pop Candy alerts us to the trailer for Come Early Morning, the directorial debut of Joey Lauren Adams from Chasing Amy. CEM stars Ashley Judd as a woman who realizes that drinking and sleeping with strange men might night be the best long-term life plan. The trailer makes the movie look like a mildly deep romantic comedy type vehicle but I suspect there’s something darker at play in the actual film. The clips of Judd dealing with what she thinks is the bad hand she’s been dealt are too prevalent and, I suspect, are glimpses as to the true subject matter of the movie. And yes, that’s Laura Prepon from “That 70’s Show” as Judd’s sister or roommate.
