Busy couple of weeks

Work - my actual job - has been kicking my ass the last couple weeks. That's why there haven't been any new columns up. If I had a bit more time I likely would have at least covered all or some of the following: Basic Instinct 2, Inside Man, Brick, Lonesome Jim and Slither. The next couple weeks should be back to normal, though.

Mack’s new blog

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that Mack Collier, one of the writers on Beyond Madison Avenue, has a new blog of his very own. The Viral Garden is an opportunity for Mack to express himself as often as he needs to and on any subject he feels like without hogging space on BMA. Definitely add this one to your reading list.

Universal Pictures has announced the winner of their "Slug it out" contest for their upcoming horror comedy Slither. A commercial created by Chris Ell was aired during "My Name Is Earl" this evening.
