Sweet Persuasion poster
JoBlo.com Movie News: Sweet Persuasion poster
This poster for the black comedy about a manipulative private school chick kind of reminds me of Ed Wood. Can you imagine if the movie itself had been shot in high-contrast black and white? That would have been great.

Elizabethtown Poster
Latino Review
As with everything Cameron Crowe does this is sure to be at least a solid triple. Also, Kirsten Dunst looks smoking in this poster.

The Fog Oficial Website
THE FOG
Sony has launched the official site for their upcoming horror remake The Fog. It’s a solid start, with a Synopsis and a single-page preview of the Dark Horse graphic novel. Considering some comic adaptations can’t get comic pages up that’s pretty good.

MirrorMask Trailer
MirrorMask - Yahoo! Movies Exclusive Trailer
This, on the other hand, looks cool. It’s a fantasy film based on the work of Neil Gaiman and, quite frankly, rocks. There’s no way for me to describe the plot so just watch it yourself.

In Her Shoes Trailer
Apple - Trailers - In Her Shoes
Gaack. Cameron Diaz, who hit her peak as an actress by…umm…gelling her hair, embarks on a personal journey to reconnect with a grandmother she’s never met. Only she’s the sister of Toni Collette, who isn’t as sexy and glamorous as Diaz, so there’s lots of opportunities for [...]
Brothers Grimm Trailer
Brothers Grimm
I can’t help but be a little disappointed by this trailer. My expectations for Gilliam films are such that I look forward to watching someone with an extraordinary imagination trying to fit that into a maverick, low-budget sensability. This was a little too over-the-top. I don’t know, I just feel like [...]
Corpse Bride
Corpse Bride
Warner Bros. has launched the official site for Tim Burton’s upcoming The Corpse Bride. I have to say this is one of the movies I’m looking forward to very much as I’m a big fan of Burton and loved The Nightmare Before Christmas.
There’s a healthy bit there already, including some photos and downloads so [...]
X-Men 3 teaser poster
Coming Soon!
Check out the brand-spanking-new teaser poster for X-Men 3 and try to guess who the focus will be on. One things for sure: This does not make it look like it will focus on Dark Phoenix. I’m increasingly worried about this.

Broken DVD Review
Official Site
A woman wakes up in bed suddenly. After stumbling to the kitchen she’s kidnapped and thrown into a situation that seems to be confusing but which she may know more about then even she knows. Waking in a dimly lit and leaky basement she’s constantly threatened by a mysterious man (who really doesn’t [...]
Pretty Persuasion trailer
IFILM - Movies: Pretty Persuasion
You really have to check out this trailer for Pretty Persuasion, the story of a 15-year-old private school chick who accuses her teacher (played by Ron Livingston) of sexual harassment. It’s funny, and features an array of fine actors, including Michael Hitchcock from Best In Show and the rest of Christopher [...]
Broken Flowers trailer
MSN Movies - Dramas
MSN has a look at the trailer for Broken Flowers, directed by Jim Jarmusch and starring Bill Murray. Murray plays an unrepentant ex-tomcat who gets a letter from an ex-girlfriend saying he has a 19-year-old son he’s never met. He then takes off around the country, meeting up with his ex-flames and [...]
Capote website launched
CAPOTE
Sony Classical has launched a place-holder site for their Truman Capote biopic starring Philip Seymour Hoffman. There’s only a photo gallery on the site now but keep an eye out for updates.
Personally my knowledge of Capote is pretty limited and mainly includes his appearance in Murder By Death (one of my favorites from childhood cable [...]
Movie Marketing Madness - Batman Begins
Considering this is the movie I’m most anticipating this summer I just had to cover the campaign this week. Click on over if you’re interested.

Mini MMM: My Summer Of Love
This English film looks like it falls into roughly the same category as Bernardo Bertolucci’s The Dreamers. Dreamy and hypnotic, it’s the story of two girls who meet by chance and the psychological (and sexual) games they play with each other and those around them.
The Trailer
The trailer looked good and definitely presented the film in [...]
The 40-Year-Old Virgin Trailer
The 40-Year-Old Virgin - A Yahoo! Movies Exclusive
Very funny trailer for the new movie from Steve Carrell. No doubt the entire flick will be just as funny since the comedy clique of Will Ferrell/Vince Vaughn/Wilson Bros. and now Carrell and Paul Rudd know how to make consistently funny movies that don’t sputter out in the [...]
